Free Zone
Flexible Business
Free Zones are economic areas where one can carry out trade at preferential tax and customs rates. Free Zones were originally formed to boost international business in the region by offering benefits such as 100% foreign company ownership.
Obtaining a business license for Dubai freezone company setup is easier and faster than offshore and mainland, given you have the right set of guidance from experts. The decision to set up business in the UAE free zone totally depends on the type of business you’re looking to form.

Freezone Licenses in Dubai
Professional License
A professional license is unique and holders of this license can only indulge in selective types of industries. DED issues a professional license to business engaging in service-oriented activities or individuals holding a professional degree with ample experience in a particular profession.
Industrial License
An Industrial Manufacturing License in Dubai or anywhere else in the United Arab Emirates is granted when the commercial activity undertaken is of an industrial nature, such as manufacturing or refining of petrochemicals. If you are unsure of whether a particular business activity is industrial or not, the rule of thumb is that it is most likely to be industrial.
Commercial License
This type of License is issued to those who are into commercial trading. The General Trading License also doesn’t cover all goods and/or commodities; some items such as automobiles and software can be traded only with a Commercial Trade License. For a Limited Liability Company, the minimum number of shareholders is one and the maximum number is 50.

We Follow Best Practices
The UAE was the first country in the Middle East to establish the concept of the free zone in 1985, with the launch of Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA). Although it was a small operation catering only to a handful of companies, it became the first free zone in the world to be awarded ISO certification within 10 years.
